Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 2025

This Privacy Policy explains how UConnect (International) Pty Ltd ("UConnect", "we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you use our iOS applications (each an "App") and related services. Some Apps may have App‑specific notices or settings that supplement this Policy.

If you have any questions, please contact us at [email protected].

1. Who we are

UConnect (International) Pty Ltd designs and publishes multiple iOS applications. We are responsible for the personal information we collect through our Apps.

2. Scope

This Policy applies to all of our iOS Apps and any in‑App features, websites we link from the App, and support channels we operate. It does not cover third‑party sites, services, or content that we do not control.

3. The information we collect

The exact data we collect depends on the App and your choices. The categories below describe what may be collected across our portfolio:

3.1 Information you provide
  • Account and profile data: name, email address, username, profile photo (where applicable).

  • User content: photos, images, prompts, text, preferences, and other content you upload or create within an App.

  • Support communications: messages and attachments you send to our support team.

3.2 Information collected automatically
  • Device and usage data: device model, operating system version, language, time zone, unique device identifiers (e.g., IDFV), App version, crash logs, performance data, and in‑App activity (e.g., screens viewed).

  • Approximate or precise location (if an App feature needs it and you grant permission).

  • Diagnostics: crash reports and performance metrics.

3.3 Information from third parties
  • Apple: purchase history for in‑App purchases and subscriptions (no full payment card details are received by us), Sign in with Apple account information (name, email) if you choose to use it.

  • Analytics/SDK partners (if enabled in a given App): aggregated analytics, attribution, or error reports.

Photos & Media: If an App edits or generates images, it may need permission to access your photo library and/or camera. You control this permission in iOS Settings.

Sensitive information: Our Apps are not designed to collect sensitive information (e.g., health, biometric, or financial data) unless an App expressly states otherwise and obtains your explicit consent.

4. How we use your information

We use personal information to:

  • Provide and operate App features (e.g., editing/generating images, saving projects, syncing preferences).

  • Process in‑App purchases and subscriptions via Apple’s in‑App Purchase system.

  • Provide customer support and respond to requests.

  • Monitor performance, fix bugs, and improve the App.

  • Personalize features and content where applicable.

  • Protect our users, enforce terms, and prevent misuse or illegal activity.

  • Comply with legal obligations and regulatory requests.

Legal bases (EEA/UK users): We process personal data where necessary for (i) performance of a contract (providing the App), (ii) our legitimate interests (e.g., App improvement, fraud prevention), (iii) compliance with law, or (iv) your consent, where required.

5. App permissions

Some features require access to device capabilities (e.g., camera, photo library, microphone, location). iOS will request your consent before we access these. You can change your permissions at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security.

6. Tracking, identifiers, and advertising

Some Apps may use identifiers (e.g., IDFV) and analytics to understand engagement and performance. If an App uses technologies that require the AppTrackingTransparency prompt (e.g., cross‑app tracking for ads), you will see a system prompt and can allow or deny tracking. You can change this later in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

We do not sell your personal information.

7. Analytics and third‑party services

Depending on the App, we may integrate analytics or crash reporting providers (e.g., Apple, Firebase Crashlytics, or similar) to help us improve stability and performance. These providers process limited personal information under their own privacy terms. We only enable the minimum data necessary for the App’s operation and improvement.

8. In‑App purchases and subscriptions

Purchases and subscriptions are handled by Apple’s App Store. We do not receive your full payment details. We receive records necessary to confirm your purchase, manage entitlements, and provide support (e.g., product identifier, transaction status, subscription state). You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions.

9. When we share information

We may share personal information with:

  • Service providers who assist us with hosting, analytics, customer support, or error tracking under confidentiality obligations.

  • Apple for purchase processing and platform services.

  • Authorities or third parties when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.

  • Business transfers: if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, we may transfer information as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.

We do not otherwise disclose personal information to third parties for their independent marketing purposes.

10. International transfers

We may process and store information in countries outside your own. Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards (e.g., contractual commitments) to protect your information.

11. Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, for as long as you maintain an account or use the App, and as required by law. We may anonymize or aggregate data for legitimate business purposes.

12. Your choices and rights

Your rights depend on your location and the App you use.

  • Access & correction: You can request a copy of your personal information and ask us to correct inaccuracies.

  • Deletion: You can request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal obligations. You may also delete App content locally from your device.

  • Consent withdrawal: Where processing is based on consent (e.g., certain permissions or tracking), you may withdraw it in the App or in iOS Settings.

  • Objection & restriction (EEA/UK): You may object to or request restriction of certain processing based on legitimate interests.

  • Portability (EEA/UK): You may request a copy of your data in a portable format where technically feasible.

To exercise any right, email [email protected].

If you believe a child has provided personal information without proper consent, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

14. Security

We implement technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure, or access. No security method is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
